It’s pure viral marketing fun; Office Max invites you to upload your picture and become a dancing elf.
You don’t want to be an elf? Look at it as an easy way to lose a few pounds.
It’s a creative viral marketing technique - the kind I wish I’d envisioned and pitched to my clients.
Still, maybe this week I’ll focus on a viral marketing idea for my Fifteen Minute Friday Pitch Post.

I have heard wonderful things about tis but, I see the screen start to load and then a blank gray screen and done at the bottom?!

I try this, it starts to lad then I get a blank gray screen. Anyone know how to fix this?

Sorry. It relies on Flash, so if you don’t have the latest version installed, you might just get a gray screen.
It’s worked on both my desktop and laptop PCs, and also my wife’s.

Elf Yourself….I used this several times on 12/29 but could not make it work this morning. 12 hours later, not sure if Officemax has taken it off or if it’s a techie problem with them. This was sooo cute and my grandboys loved themselves as elves!!

My office manager was able to view this from a friend who sent this to us but I get the same blank screen.
How do you install Flash? Is there a place on Office Max’ website to do this?

Loved the site, which I got from my daughter.
However when I used it with my own pcitures and dent to family and friends, they could not open as the site did not show up in blue for them to click on. I tried sending it to my other email address to see what they meant and sure enough I couldn’t open…..please advise

I don’t know why it’s not showing up for you. I’d assume a flash player problem. You should contact the Office Max folks for support.

I WAS ABLE TO SEND ONE ONCE. I TRIED A SECOND TIME AND GOT A BLANK SCREEN.

I was informed by Office Max support (1-800-283-7646 option #2) that you must have your internet option set to accept ALL COOKIES.
In explorer( ver 6.0.2900….)- Tools-Internet options-privacy
and move the slider at the left to the bottom until it reflects “Accept All Cookies”
If this doesnt work, call the support number

You must download FLASH- google “Flash Application” and it will post many sites that will allow you to download FREE software (Flash)- it doesnt take long and it allows your viewing of this elf stuff……
