Top 10 Writer’s Books Uncovered at Writing White Papers blog.

Michael Stelzner of Writing White Papers - never one to let a good concept go unused - has morphed his “Ten Best Writer’s blogs” idea into a “Top 10 Books for Writers” post.
I’m learning about a lot of titles I knew little about. But wonder why so few of the classics are seeing the light of day.
It’s fun (engaging even). So drop by and join the scrum. Can’t wait to see what pops out.

Thanks Tom!
When is your book coming?

The book thing keeps popping up. But for reasons you might consider odd.
I started the Trout Underground fly fishing blog with the idea I’d someday write a fly fishing essay book. Now I get more visitors in a week than an average essay book would sell in a year.
So which is the *real* publishing method?
Off the “Top 10 Writer’s book” topic, but I find myself wondering if we won’t soon see a reversal of the “blog supports the book” concept…

Tom - Something tells me Renegade Writer sent out a blast to their readers. These votes came out of no where. - Mike

It’s likely. I’m enough of a cranky old fart that I haven’t heard of many of the newer titles.
An interesting variation of the contest would be to ask readers to post a photograph of their everyday “A-list” bookshelf (hiding and shelving books not allowed).
That would be interesting viewing.

Any book is good for me as a writer. For some reason, reading motivates me to write and fills me with creativity. Nonetheless, I want to see lists of the best books for writers.
Thanks,
