Shasta! I grew up in Redding, California (we were just 5 minutes from Shasta Lake) and we made frequent trips to a place called Gumboot Lake that is up in your neck of the woods. I live in Portland, Oregon now, but I have fond memories from my childhood of Mt. Shasta, Lake Siskiyou and Gumboot. Have fun on your fishing trip!
