Free Download: Liquid Story Binder Writing Software

Word processor geeks rejoice! Liquid Story Binder XE is writing software (Windows) designed for those who write, organize and publish larger writing projects (not blog posts).

For the rest of today (Friday, 7/18), you can download it free from the Giveaway of the Day site (normally $45).

If you download it, I’d love to hear what you think.

Keep writing, Tom Chandler.

I was late too, but I have been trying a trial version.

And I really like this kind of software. It allows me to have all the files (sections) – when writing a web copy – under one roof, which is something Word or Q10 are unable to offer.

With LSB you got practical statistics (you can see number of words in selected text), quick notes, you can use “subscript” for old versions of text. What may be the most important thing (subjective feeling) – I don’t feel distracted when writing in Liquid Binder.

I’ll probably buy the soft, even though I use 20% of its functions.

    Thanks for the tip, Tom.

    Thanks for the mini-review.

I’m writing more online/Web copy than ever before, and all the formatting goodies & other high-end functionality in my big word processor is going to waste.

Organizing information around a project is becoming a much bigger barrier than mail merge or footnotes.

Is word processing software due for an evolution? Will it focus more on organization, and less on formatting?
